018 Power Up Your Motivation (and Fitness) by Stepping Away from the Comparison Trap

If we engage with a group of like-minded people with similar goals, we are more likely to reach our own goals. But sometimes this can work against us if we compare ourselves negatively to others. Comparing is natural, but we must not assume that others are better people than us, gifted with natural motivation. Today I want to share with you how we can power up our motivation and step away from the comparison trap.  What You Will Learn In This Episode:

- How to understand that there is a difference between where you are in this journey and where the other person is

- How to step away from the assumption that someone else has more time or more opportunity than you do

- Honouring the fact that we have all been through different struggles

- We all have different goals and different sacrifices we are willing to make to achieve them Comparison is fruitless. It is something that is entirely created in your own head, because you do not know the full story. Instead of being trapped in the comparison game, we need to have a vision and the goals that we want to achieve. The best thing to do is to follow our own path and focus on our own journey.
