017 How to Have your Fittest Autumn Yet!

Autumn feels like a time of year for fresh starts. We have all sort of plans, hopes and goals for upcoming months, but the energy and enthusiasm that carries us through those early weeks can start to wear off. In this episode, I want to help you take your enthusiasm and translate it into something that lasts and takes you all the way through to the end of the year in a blaze of energy, confidence and optimism.

What You Will Learn In This Episode: 

- How to be realistic about your goals so you don’t burn out too quickly - Realising that progress and motivation go up, down and sideways - How to make a long term plan rather than planning a few weeks out - How to tap into your intrinsic goals - How to listen to what your body needs and stay flexible within your plan

Maintaining that early enthusiasm through these five tips is as important as the fresh start itself.  Try not to get carried away, and stop expecting the motivation to go on forever. Think about what you want to be doing in six months or in a year's time; think about the emotion that you want to feel, and listen to what your body needs.
