015 ‘My Thighs are Too Fat' and Other Stories That I Tell Myself

Working on our health and well-being is not as simple as knowing what we should be doing. We all know that we should be exercising, eating healthy and taking care of ourselves. Yet so many of us find it hard to do these things consistently.

The real secret is in the mindset. All of us have negative little stories that we tend to tell ourselves. These stories then hold us back by forming an opinion of ourselves, of what we are or aren't capable of doing. However, we can learn to bust through these blocks to reach our goals, and create consistency and ease around exercise, eating well and self-care.

What You Will Learn In This Episode:

- How to create a positive picture of yourself and use that as a reason to exercise

- How to prioritise things in our lives and make the time for exercise

- How to go from hating exercise to it being something you like

- How to start feeling more confident in yourself

Whatever negative story you use as an excuse, you can turn it into a positive story that you can tell yourself. Write it down so you can go back and revisit it whenever you need a confidence boost.
